Letter of the Week!
Coming in the 2010-2011 school year............ |
We understand that children thrive best in environments that take into consideration
their entire development. Our program is child oriented and encourages development in
the spiritual, social, emotional, intellectual and physical areas. We also recognize that
children learn through play. Our classes are filled with fun opportunities to learn and
grow through: |
- music
- art
- dramatic play
- prayer
- listening
- pre-reading
- math games
- Bible stories
- science experiments
- special visitors
- holiday parties
- field trips
- throwing and catching
- riding tricycles
- learning about people and animals in other places and times

Our staff is both a resource and a partner for parents. Therefore, please do not hesitate
to ask questions. Your input is vital to our program.
We pray that God’s blessings will be with all of us as we begin this new school year. |

| Our Mission: <back> |
| Our mission is to provide a loving, Christian environment and to partner with parents in
guiding children on their journey toward achieving all that God has planned for them. |
| Our Goals: <back> |
1. To provide a Christian setting in which each child will appreciate the loving nature of
God, and thus, his/her own self-worth and individuality.
2. To understand and accept differences and learn how to interact with peers in a way
that shows respect.
3. To acknowledge child’s play as a way of working and learning.
4. To structure the learning environment so that a child learns basic skills along with an
awareness of a world outside of self and family.
5. To vary developmentally appropriate teaching activities and resources to
accommodate individual learning styles and needs.
6. To separate from parent and encourage each child’s sense of self-sufficiency and
independence.
7. To gain a positive image of school as a place to discover, learn and grow. |
